About ACE

The Association of Competition Economics (ACE) brings together those working on the economics of competition in government, academia and the private sector and provides a forum for discussion and debate of both issues and cases. It is based in Europe and is open to all those interested in the economics of competition. It is a not-for-profit organization.

  • Foster common economic analyses and approaches across countries and institutions.
  • Raise standards of economic analysis by keeping practitioners up to date with academic research.
  • Give better access to institutional details and case facts, enabling more studies of competition policy issues.
  • Improve critical dialogue and contacts between government, private practitioners and academics outside of the specific instance of cases.
  • Raise the profile of the economic analysis of competition, making it a more attractive career choice for economists.
  • Create a community of economists working in competition across Europe.
